Hi guys, as I’m all things beauty I just wanted to share with you these amazing gift sets I got from my birthday. I was lucky enough to get two gift sets (I think it’s safe to say people know me rather well!)
I mean what’s not to love! If you haven’t tried Soap and Glory before, I would recommend going to Boots at this time of year as they have 3 for 2 on most products in store so you can build a collection.
My first ever Soap and Glory product was the “clean on me” shower gel I just fell in love with the smell and how long it lasted. I know I shouldn’t but I am a real sucker for packaging and everything pink, fluffy and girly. You name it I pretty much love it, ticking another box with my love for soap and glory, and as you can see both sets are beautifully packaged (I almost don’t want to open them! Or at the least reluctant to throw the boxes away to Jason’s annoyance!)
The two gift sets I got where:
I got this from my brother In Law (I think with a little help from his girlfriend).
The set includes:
- Clean on me – Shower Gel
- The scrub of your life – body buffer
- The righteous butter – body butter
- Hand food- hydrating hand cream
- Heel genius – foot cream
- Super sudsy shower puff
Soap the best
I got this in a hamper from my best friend Naomi.
This set includes a few of the same products but these are mini sets
- Clean on me
- The scrub of your life
- The righteous butter
- Hand food
- Super sudsy shower puff
So even though I got doubles you can never have enough in my opinion ha-ha! Now to talk about the products in a little bit more detail (I wont ramble as I know we all have busy lives !!)
Clean on me
This is a creamy shower gel, very light in colour even with a hint of pink. In the mini set it comes with a screw lid and is easy to pour, whereas the larger bottle comes with a pump which I find very helpful to have on my shower shelf. A few pumps into my shower puff lather up and away we go.
The Righteous butter
This is brilliant for anyone that suffers from dry skin (I know that is one of the main purposes for a moisturizer) but this is formulated for just that reason. Its smooth and butter like consistency makes it easy to rub into your skin without feeling sticky, and a little goes a long way.
Being a mummy my hands are constantly in and out of water. Either washing up bottles, soaking my little one’s favourite top (favourite of mummy’s should I say) because of a dinner disaster and bath time every night as part of his night time routine. Cleaning the house also takes a toll on your hands after a while and with winter here it’s not going to get any better. I find that the hand food is a little life safer for keeping my hands from cracking and drying out. Its hydrating formula leaves my hands supper soft and as I have two I can keep one at home and one in the nappy bag.
The scrub of your life
I have used this for years, as mentioned above I have rather dry skin and can sometimes get uneven dry patches on the tops of my arms and neck. This is also great if you love a spray tan, the little pink beads help to exfoliate your skin removing any dead skin cells leaving you with even skin and if you’re a tan lover you all set to have your tan.
This is the one product I haven’t tried from my sets so I will be really interested to see how it is but I sure I will love it just as much as the others. Thanks for taking the time to read this today my reviews are all genuine and my own words.
Let me know if you love soap & Glory in the comments below.
